Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissue by hand of through a mechanical or electrical apparatus for: therapeutic or hygienic purposes; stress reduction; or increasing circulation and lymphatic flow. It includes: effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, compression, vibration, friction, stroking, and/or kneading. It does not include: diagnosis or treatment of illness or injury beyond the s... Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissue by hand of through a mechanical or electrical apparatus for: therapeutic or hygienic purposes; stress reduction; or increasing circulation and lymphatic flow. It includes: effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, compression, vibration, friction, stroking, and/or kneading. It does not include: diagnosis or treatment of illness or injury beyond the scope of soft tissue work; chiropractic adjustment, acupuncture, or physical therapy unless licensed for those. To legally practice any kind of massage therapy in Texas, a provider must be licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). We do NOT employ chiropractic assistants that perform massage therapy of any kind at this establishment; all of our massage therapy providers are fully trained and licensed by the State of Texas.

Hi there! My name is Bailey Mier-Nava, and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Texas specializing in therapeutic massage, as well as the Founder of Interstellar Massage and Interstellar Wellness Group, an Advanced Therapeutic Bodywork clinic in the Houston Bay Area. I completed my 500-Hour Basic Massage Therapy instruction and internship with the Texas School of Massage in November 2023. I received my license to practice massage therapy in the state of Texas in December 2023. Some of the advanced modalities I am currently studying include trigger point, myofascial release, sports massage, and medical massage.

Joel Moya LMT

Joel Moya is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Texas. He completed his foundational massage therapy training through the Texas School of Massage. He has a strong background in business management as well as sales and marketing, and he knows from experience that it is really easy to sell something that you truly believe in. Throughout his time so far exploring the world of massage, he is now someone who truly believes in the powerful impact that massage therapy can have on the body. Because he is such a strong believer in it, blending his skills in both business and massage therapy is a natural fit for him in his career. Joel has intentions to pursue advanced training in sports massage, personal training, and nutrition coaching. He has a very intuitive touch and is able to narrate his care to educate his clients, and he is an excellent choice for most clients seeking relaxation or therapeutic massage in our clinic.

Thaddeus Allen LMT

Thaddeus is our second-most tenured therapist with over 14 years of experience in the bodywork industry. He is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Texas and holds accreditations from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Personal Trainer. He has developed his own unique approaches to patient care using a blend of advanced therapeutic massage modalities that truly get his clients impeccable results that LAST. He joined the Interstellar team to help us coordinate our massage team and elevate our clinical practice to the standards of excellence we want to bring to our patients, and we are very fortunate to have him involved with our clinic. He serves as our Lead LMT and helps hire, train, and onboard all of our new LMTs and coordinates care on more complex medical cases that we see here in the clinic.
